Make sure you're signed into Game Center in your device Settings. The app needs Game Center to sync leaderboard scores.
Currently, Whac-a-Tile is a free ad-supported game. A premium ad-free option may be available in a future update.
The game uses animations and haptics which can consume battery. Try reducing screen brightness or closing other apps in the background.
